Syed Maaz Hasan is a dedicated professional with a rich background in consulting,education, and social development. As a former Lead Consultant at Learning Links Foundation, he played a key role in Project Sashakti, a Mastercard Foundation-funded initiative in collaboration with LLF and the Indian Government, aimed at empowering women and enhancing their livelihoods.
He has also served in leadership roles, including Project Lead and CEO, for the Financial & Digital Literacy Initiative for Women Project. In addition, he co-founded the SDG Society, an initiative focused on integrating sustainable development goals into Indian high schools.
Syed Maaz Hasan’s achievements include earning two prestigious scholarships: the KLYES Program funded by the U.S. Government and the Localinternational Program funded by the Turkish Government.
Academically, he holds a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Indira Gandhi National Open University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship, Design Thinking, and Innovation from Jamia Millia Islamia University.
With over five years of voluntary experience, Maaz has collaborated with notable organizations such as AFS Intercultural Programs, Teach for India, Prithak Foundation, and IIT Delhi, reflecting his unwavering commitment to creating meaningful social impact.

With a stellar career spanning leading global firms, Shahbajali Saiyed is a seasoned Chartered Accountant and External Auditor, currently serving as a Senior Associate Auditor at PKF London. He brings a wealth of expertise in audit, assurance, financial analysis, and compliance, having previously worked with Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP as a Deputy Manager, handling multi-sector audits in telecommunications, textiles, chemicals, and infrastructure.
Shahbajali’s professional journey reflects a commitment to financial excellence and integrity, with extensive experience in internal controls, variance analysis, risk assessment, and advisory services across industries. His international exposure in the UK, Cambodia, and the UAE has sharpened his analytical acumen, enabling him to navigate complex financial landscapes with precision.
Beyond his corporate expertise, Shahbajali is passionate about mentoring the next generation of finance professionals. He actively shares insights with aspiring Chartered Accountants (CAs), Company Secretaries (CS), finance professionals, and business leaders, guiding them through the evolving world of finance, management, and banking. Areeb’s journey from India to Spain is a testament to personal growth, professional development, and cultural exploration. Born and raised in India, he pursued his education at Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a minor in Psychology. Alongside his studies, he developed a passion for languages and successfully obtained an Advanced Diploma in Spanish, which later played a crucial role in shaping his international career.
His professional journey began in India, where he worked in diverse roles, including as a Journey Mentor at EdTerra Edventures Pvt Ltd, helping students gain experiential learning through travel. He later transitioned into the corporate sector as a Finance Analyst at HP, where he honed his analytical and financial skills. However, his passion for education and cultural exchange led him to explore opportunities beyond India.
Areeb moved to Spain as an Auxiliar de Conversación (Teaching Assistant) under the Ministerio de Educación program. Currently based in Valencia, he teaches in public schools, leveraging his financial expertise and deep cultural insights to contribute to both educational initiatives and community projects. His journey exemplifies adaptability, lifelong learning, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact globally.

Simeen A. is an interdisciplinary artist and curator with a passion for socially engaged art and cultural storytelling. Originally from India, she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and Applied Arts at Jamia Millia Islamia before embarking on an exciting academic and artistic journey abroad. She is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Social Art Practice at Portland State University, where she is studying on a fully funded scholarship.
Her work delves into themes of public space, gender, and community narratives, with projects such as I Know a Spot, which documents leisure spaces for women in urban environments. Simeen has contributed to numerous artistic and curatorial initiatives, including serving as a Curator at Littman & White Galleries and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Portland State University. She has also worked with esteemed organizations such as the Kochi Biennale Foundation and Amarnath Sehgal Private Collection, gaining extensive experience in museum education, exhibition curation, and design.
Excited to share her knowledge and experience, Simeen is happy to join FLEP Academy as a mentor. She looks forward to guiding and inspiring aspiring artists, helping them navigate creative careers with a global perspective.
